 Pocket Frog is a new addition to Vonvonz Handmade Pocket Friends family. Unlike the meows and bunnies, frog comes in green color. 有一只海狮来到企鹅居住的地方，见到一百只企鹅活得很写意，便问了每一只企鹅同样的一个问题。
“你每天是怎样过活的？”
第一只企鹅回答道：“吃饭、睡觉、打滚滚。”
海狮问第二只企鹅：“你每天是怎样过活的？”
第二只企鹅回答道：“吃饭、睡觉、打滚滚。”
海狮接着问第三只企鹅：“你每天是怎样过活的？”
第三只企鹅回答道：“吃饭、睡觉、打滚滚。”
海狮不厌其烦地问了99 只企鹅，所得到的答案都一样，“吃饭、睡觉、打滚滚。”
直到海狮问最后那第一百只企鹅：“你每天是怎样过活的？”
那第一百只企鹅回答道：“吃饭、睡觉。”
海狮很惊讶，怎么这最后一只企鹅的答案与众不同，便问道：“为什么你和其他企鹅不同？他们都吃饭、睡觉、打滚滚，而你却只是吃饭、睡觉？”
那最后一只企鹅很伤心的说：“我就是滚滚。”

| Melaka Tomorrow |

I am so ready to face the music... er the sun. I know I will most probably suffer the uncomfort at night but I will just enjoy myself!!! waha hahaha...
The whole planning and stuff was fun already, i am looking forward for the trip. I will be reaching Melaka tomorrow afternoon. :) I was glad that I was told of the special offer the Aldy Hotel is offering, by joining a year membership at RM$288, we'll get complimentry of 2 nights in superior room, that way we saved RM$45 and there are a lot of other complimentries too.
although we are not planning for a super budget trip, but it's always nice to find out how much we save when we DIY the transport and accomodation instead of signing up a tour grp free and easy. we save more than half of what tour packages cost this way.
Hopefully we can plan out Hong Kong trip in the future ourselves. :D it's fun.
I'll be back on 29th june evening, just for record.
photographs!!! using DSLR for this trip, hope I don't screw up. I'm so a compact camera person.. :( lack of confidence with DSLR...
Food!!!!! Munch munch~~ a lot of yummy food there~
Cultural tours!!!!
Old London Bus!!! <-- new addition in Melaka... now we can travel in more comfort... I walked all the way 5 yrs ago... there wasn't any cheap transport back then, only cabs that don't go by meter. this bus service is like RM$3 to RM$5 for a whole day.
Shopping!! most likely to window shop... we don't really shop that much, although when we do, we'll burn a bit hole in our pocket.
yada yada yada~~ talk too much... i'm gonna rest a bit now. :) take care all!

| UV protect? |

I just read that actually dark colored clothes are better at block UV from skin than light colored clothes... I'm parking dark long sleeves for my malacca trip! still in search of ideal hat.. although it don't really block UV off my face but i guess it should reduce a little since they dont go directly into my face.
i'm expecting to have uncomfortable nights during the trip because Malacca is really sunny. But I want to travel!
I'm also using anti-uva & uvs Pa+++ spf 60 sun block cream and really, it don't block a lot too. I still get rashed on uncovered skin areas... speaking about seeing doctors... I have a strong feeling that they dont know what's going on and probably will have me try a few things to see if they work for me and that will cost me a bomb which i can't afford...
and what my family doctor said once was.. 'if it is an allergy, there's nothing much you can do to stop it, you can only prevent and reduce the chance to it coming. it's pretty much like allergy to pollen or anything else.'
i dont think i will stop traveling because of this. although i'm really afraid of going outside. seriously, i only need to be sitting by the window with the windows open and the sunlight dont have to be strong. 5 mins will keep my skin itching for hours and maybe a day.
but i've learn to try not to scratch the itch and not to apply anything stupid on it to further irritates it. and soon over the night it will go just go away.
i don't know how i get this type of skin condition, at first it only start off on my arms and it don't always happen too. but last july, it became permenant and keeps hitting me whenever i am in the sun or to say, under anything that gives off UV.
it is said that some medication might lead to this or even some sun block will triggle it too. i am not under medications, so i dunno what to suspect. or it's just my body chance as i age.
Before last july, I was in the sun so much that my arms are so dark, it makes my tummy skin look like a sheet of white paper when put together to compare. I do photography outdoors, i enjoy going to places in Singapore to explore places i've not been... but now, the skin on my arms are just as fair as my tummy! (i dont sun tan or swim, so the protected areas are very fair lol too much info!)
now i'm always with long sleeves, pants and hat... i'm just so close to wearing gloves and face mask... -_-;;; and i live in singapore, a SUNNY island. I'm in love with the rainy days now.
enough rant.. i bet i've rant about this many many times but i havent seen a specialist. maybe someday i will, perhap when i win TOTO or 4D
btw, do remember to take care of your skin, protect yourself from the sun. But don't over do it. it might just make your body reject the help that you thought it needed.

Just watched Lars and The Real Girl it's not that type of movie I will watch but this is a good and touching one. :) It is a little odd for them to accept what's going on and act with it but it's all because of love. ^__^

Btw, I'm planning to revisit Melaka/Malacca after 5 years with J as a photography trip. Anyone have any suggestion which hotel is good? :) I've done some research but would like more opinions.

my boy is in Japan for work and he goes around the town during weekend to look around and he found these!
I've mentioned to him about Japan having those seats that are design for sitting on the ground or something... and here it is and I can't believe how inexpensive it is~ probably cos it's on sale. $1980 yen.. that's about $20++sgd?
But the sad thing is that he can't lug it back to Singapore since he's got a laptop bag, a camera bag, a huge laggauge and many many bags of goodies that he had already bought. I am so tempted to ask him to mail the seat back to Singapore. lol But I bet that will cost a lot.
I wish there are seats like that in Singapore, since my work space and computer is floor level, I love to have something to lean on.
I love the lion and the frog one. XD wahaha...
and u see the smaller ones at the bottom?? those are like little stools. XD
